Gary is a 15-year-old student at a high school in the city, where he meets Alana, a 25-year-old Jewish girl who works at the photo studio hired to produce the high school’s picture day. When Gary and Alana’s paths cross for the first time, a connection quickly develops between them, a tie very difficult to break.
