Competition of microshorts
Are you a person passionate about outdoor cinema? Come up with an original, emotional, romantic or funny story and create a 1-minute micro-short! The winning short films will receive the following prizes: €500 (first prize), €250 (second prize), €100 (third prize)
GOAL
Foster creativity, ingenuity and teamwork by creating a micro-short that reflects your passion for outdoor cinema.
LENGHT
Maximum 1 minute (including credits).
THEME AND REQUIREMENTS
Pay homage to outdoor cinema your way. The only requirement: a heroine or hero must appear in the format you want at some point in the short!
DEADLINE
Send us your short film before June 28 at midnight.
PRIZE
The winning shorts will receive the following prizes: €500 (first prize), €250 (second prize), €100 (third prize).
JURY:
The jury is composed of the MODIband team, organizers of Sala Montjuïc. Five finalists will be selected and the audience of Sala Montjuïc will choose the winner through a form whose link will be available on our website and on our social networks. The winning short film will be screened at one of the Sala Montjuïc 2024 sessions.
REGISTRATION
You can participate individually or as a team. Those under the age of 18 may participate and/or appear with the consent of a legal guardian. Complete the registration form available aquí.

Send your short using an online file sending service to info@salamontjuic.org, in .mp4 or .mov format
LEGAL TERMS
Here you will find more details about the legal conditions of the competition.
1. We respect your intellectual right; it is your responsibility, however, to ensure that the short film does not infringe any legal rights of third parties. The organization is not responsible for possible infringements of intellectual rights.
2. The public exhibition of the short film in any format or through any medium will not be allowed until its publication on Sala Montjuïc’s social media.
3. By participating as an author/authors, you assign indefinitely to Sala Montjuïc the rights of reproduction, public exhibition and distribution of the short film or its fragments.
4. The organization will make a pre-selection of the best short films for screening at Sala Montjuïc and they will be published on our social networks to encourage the public to vote for them through a form.
5. We reserve the right to exclude short films that may generate discrimination based on gender, origin, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
6. The organization will resolve any issue not contemplated in the rules and its decisions will be final and unappealable.
7. Participation in this contest implies acceptance of these rules.
