In 1977, during Brazil’s military dictatorship, Marcelo, a teacher fleeing a troubled past, returns to the city of Recife hoping to build a new life and reconnect with his son. But he soon realizes that the city is far from the refuge he was seeking: government forces are pursuing him and death threats begin to close in around him.
An entertaining, colorful thriller full of espionage that reflects on the amnesia of the present.
