Carmen is a young Roma girl who lives in the outskirts of Madrid, fated to live a life that is repeated generation after generation: to get married and have as many children as possible. But then she meets Lola, a much more rebellious member of the Roma community, and she begins to see things differently.
A light, refreshing movie starring non-professional actors, Carmen and Lola is a daring portrait of first love between two Roma women.
