The composer and guitarist Guido Di Blasi founded his New Tango Project in a quest to find a fresh, different new way to perform tango. The result fuses the elegance and force of tango with lively jazz and even rock beats to create a revitalised, modern and highly versatile sound. And the band are not afraid to take even more risks, presenting an original repertoire that shows how tango and jazz are not only compatible, but can also complete each other.
