Due to an outbreak of canine flu in the city of Megasaki, all dogs are banished to Trash Island, where no humans live. But Atari Kobayashi, a 12-year-old boy, decides to rescue his dog, Spots, and bring him home again.
Wes Anderson’s animated film is a delicate, fascinating work of great beauty.
